クラブで出会った編集長から依頼され、自身にとって初めてアートディレクションとデザインを全面的に任されたフリーマガジン『PLUG』。クラブカルチャーの濃い情報を掲載し、クラブ、レコード店、CDショップ等で配布された。専用タイプフェイスも設計し、当時はフォント化する手段がなかったため、記事の全タイトルとサブタイトルを一文字ずつ手作業で配置した。
